The March

About the March 4 Democracy

From February 27-28, 2026, the American People Take D.C., And We’re Not Marching Quietly.

From February 27-28, 2026, thousands of Americans will descend on Washington, D.C. for a nationwide mobilization to defend democracy and confront corruption head-on. This isn’t a parade. This is a reckoning. A people-powered march demanding a government that works for all of us, not the wealthy few buying power in back rooms while the rest of us fight to survive.

We’re coming from every corner of the country. Every background. Every struggle. Every movement.

And when we flood the streets of D.C., the message will be unmistakable: We the People are done being fucking ignored.

Impeachment Lobbying

On Friday, March 4 Democracy takes the fight directly to Congress. Attendees will join the M4D organizing team, partner organizations, and the congressional lobbying team from FLARE, with support from the Removal Coalition, to meet directly with elected officials and their staff at congressional offices. This is coordinated, disciplined pressure—led by M4D—demanding Donald Trump’s impeachment, conviction, and removal from office.

No lip service. Just constituents looking power in the eye and saying: do your fucking job.

March 4 Democracy Rally & March

Saturday is where the people take the streets. Tens of thousands will gather in Washington, D.C. for a mass rally and march to show the country—and those in power—that we are done waiting. This is a visible, undeniable display of public will for accountability, democracy, and a government that serves the people, not strongmen or billionaires.

This is pressure they can’t ignore. This is democracy in motion.

What to Expect

Congressional Meetings, A Rally, A March, and a Unified Demand for Democracy and Accountability.

We will gather at a central location in Washington, D.C. (final details forthcoming). From there, we’ll rally, hear from powerful speakers, and then we’ll march as one unified force directly to the halls of power.

Expect a massive, loud, unapologetic crowd. Expect voices from frontline organizers. Expect veterans, workers, caregivers, immigrants, organizers, and everyday Americans who refuse to accept the death of American democracy.

The exact march route and timing will be released closer to the date for safety and security reasons, but the energy, purpose, and pressure will be unmistakable.

We’re not showing up to whisper. We’re showing up to be heard.

Getting to D.C.

Nationwide Bus Rideshares Through Rally. No One Marches Alone.

We’re moving people into D.C. by the thousands. March 4 Democracy is working with Rally to coordinate nationwide bus rideshares from cities, campuses, and communities across the country. Whether you’re traveling solo, with a group, or as part of an organization, there’s a seat waiting for you.

This is how working people take power back: together, in motion, on our way to D.C. to be heard.

Driving, carpooling, flying, or taking the train?

We’ll provide additional details on parking, drop-off zones, and recommended routes as the date approaches.

A black and red tour bus with the text 'WE ARE M4D MARCH 4 DEMOCRACY' prominently displayed on the side. The phrase 'We the People are fucking pissed' is also visible, emphasizing a call for democracy.

Solidarity Events

Can't Get to Washington? You Can Still March With Us.

Not everyone can travel, and that’s okay. Across the country, communities are organizing Solidarity Events: local marches, rallies, vigils, livestream gatherings, and community discussions.

Democracy is not limited by geography. If you’re marching with us, you’re part of the movement—wherever you are.

Accessibility

Everyone Deserves a Place in Our Democracy. No Exceptions, No Barriers.

Democracy belongs to all of us, and so does this march. M4D is committed to making the event fully accessible for disabled attendees and anyone else who might need accommodations.

FAQs

Straight Answers for a High-Stakes Day
Why the date?

The March 4 Democracy is taking place on February 27-28, 2026. What began as a single-day rally on February 28th has now expanded into a two-day call-to-action:

  • February 27, 2026: Impeachment lobbying with FLARE, Removal Coalition, and others
  • February 28, 2026: Main rally and march

M4D means March for Democracy, not March 4th. From a logistical standpoint, large-scale mobilizations like this are far more accessible on weekends than on weekdays. March 4th falls in the middle of the week, and mobilizing tens of thousands of people on a Wednesday is not realistic for working families, caregivers, students, or those traveling long distances. For those reasons, a weekend date was the strategic and practical choice.

The exact time will be announced closer to the event. Expect an early afternoon rally before the march.

The exact location will be announced closer to the event. Expect it to take place in the heart of D.C. Exact details are being held temporarily for security.

Because violent extremists and bad-faith groups have made safety a real concern. Protecting marchers comes first.

Yes. See our accessibility section above for details.

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation, and you can get to D.C. however works best for you—driving, flying, rail, rideshare, or bus. To help people share costs and travel together, we’re working with Rally, where you can find an existing bus trip or create one from your area. See our transportation section above for more information.

Families are welcome, but use your best judgment based on your child’s needs and the scale and nature of the event.

Hell yes—democracy loves a good sign.

We are taking every measure to ensure collective safety, including trained volunteer marshals, accessibility guides, coordinated movement planning, and close collaboration with the National Park Service, U.S. Capitol Police, and Metropolitan Police Department.

While we can’t make you, we would appreciate it. RSVPs help us coordinate permits, crowd size, transportation, and safety. Please plan to RSVP if you haven’t already.

America Won't Save Itself. We Will.

If our elected officials won’t do their damn jobs, then we’ll do what Americans have always done when pushed to the brink: we rise up and take the future into our own hands.

We march because we love this country enough to fight like hell for it. We march because democracy dies when people stay home. We march because the smallest act of courage is showing up.

From February 27-28, 2026, we take Washington, D.C. And we march for democracy, for justice, and for dignity, for all.

WE ARE M4D. AND WE ARE DONE BEING FUCKING IGNORED.
